The roof is the easy part.
Trusting the crew is the hard part.
We're a small, family-owned crew. Same people show up every day. No subcontractors. No call centers. You get a straight answer on whether you actually need a new roof — even if that answer costs us the job.

Why we're different
Small crew. Same person picks up the phone.
"I built this company so that the person who looks at your roof is the same person who answers when you call at 6pm with a question. That's it. That's the whole pitch."
We've done about 70 roofs a year for years. Most of our work comes from neighbors referring neighbors. We don't have a marketing budget — we have a reputation to protect.

We're a newer operation. Here's how to verify us instead of taking our word for it:
Check our CSLB license
California contractor license #1123728. Look it up on the state board — takes 30 seconds.
Verify on CSLB.ca.gov →See real recent work
We post project photos on Instagram (@roof.unitedfront) and tag the neighborhood. Scroll a few weeks and you'll see real Oakland + Berkeley roofs — same crew, same trucks.
Browse our project gallery →Talk to a recent customer
Call us and tell us your zip code. We'll text you 2–3 recent customers in your area you can call directly. No referral form, no email gate.
Call (510) 555-1234 →"They told me I didn't need a full replacement — just a targeted repair. Saved me $17,000. Any other contractor would've sold me the whole job."
Homeowner, Rockridge, Oakland — Shingle repair, Spring 2024
How we work
Every job follows the same four steps. No surprises.
01
Tear-Off
We strip the old material down to the deck and inspect for rot, soft spots, and water damage.
02
Foundation
New underlayment, ice-and-water shield at eaves, proper flashing at every penetration.
03
Install
We nail-gun new shingles (or your chosen material) to manufacturer specs. Photo documentation throughout.
04
Cleanup
Magnetic sweep for nails, haul-away of all debris, final walkthrough with you before we invoice.

Typical ranges for our area: Composition/asphalt shingle $14K–$22K. Metal roofing $26K–$42K. Tile $30K–$48K. Exact price depends on slope, access, current deck condition, and material choice. We give you a written line-item quote before anything starts.

Honest inspection. No pressure. If repair is the right call, we'll say so even if it means losing a $20,000 job.
